Commercial Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging inspections at your facility is a very cost effective assessment tool, and usually provides a Return on Investment (ROI) on the order of at least 4-to-1.

Does your facility have any equipment that is considered critical; that is if it failed unexpectedly could it pose a significant loss of revenue, employee productivity or reduced safety? If you answered "yes" then contact HOME INSPEX at (804) 744-4663 or eric@homeinspex.com for a free consultation. And please don't be fooled by our name HOME INSPEX; yes we provide services to residences in addition to professional thermal imaging services to all businesses in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Electrical and mechanical systems produce heat during their operation. It is known that heat increases prior to failure, and that increased heat is a predictor of electrical and mechanical failure. Thermal imaging allows us to see the heat from operating equipment. During our qualitative thermal inspection process we compare thermal images of equipment to identify equipment that appears to be hotter than normal.

Thermal imaging should be a part of your Predictive/Preventative Maintenance program. The thermal inspection is often conducted before equipment/plant shutdowns, or on a regular basis (for example every 6 months).

Take a look at the articles below to see how thermal imaging by HOME INSPEX can benefit your facility. We look forward to working with you.
